These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) apply as between you, the User of this virtualinternships.learnworlds.com and Virtual Internships, the owner of this Website and CareerBridge.They govern your enrollment in and access to CareerBridge

If you are enrolled in the VI Program, these Terms supplement Our Main Terms and Conditions which apply to all services We provide. If you are only purchasing access to CareerBridge, these Terms form a separate agreement and incorporate by reference Our Main Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict, these Terms take priority for your use of CareerBridge. 

How to read these Terms:
  • Clauses 1-4, 8 and 9 of these Terms apply to all users upon their first use of the Website. 
  • Clauses 5, 6 and 7 only apply upon sale of Services to users who are not enrolled in the VI Program and only purchase access to CareerBridge.

Please let Us know if you have any questions about these terms, and don’t continue using this Website or purchase any Services unless you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with all these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Website and you must discontinue use immediately.

To use the Website and Our Services, you must be at least 18 years of age. If you are a minor in the jurisdiction where you reside (generally under the age of 18), then you must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, your parent or legal guardian to use the Website. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or legal guardian read and agree to these Terms prior to you using the Website.

Please note that We may change any part of these Terms at any time by updating this page of the Website, so you may find that different Terms apply next time you use this Website or use the Services. You can check the date at the top of this page to see when We last updated these Terms.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms, the following terms will have the following meanings:

1.1 - "Account": means collectively the personal information, Payment Information and credentials used by Users to access Paid Content and / or any communications System on the Website;
1.2 - “CareerBridge”: means Our proprietary e-learning platform hosted on the Website;
1.3 -"Content": means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of this Website;
1.4 -"Facilities": means collectively any online facilities, tools, services or information that We make available through the Website either now or in the future;
1.5 -"Services": means the services available to you through this Website, specifically use of the CareerBridge;
1.6 -"Payment Information": means any details required for the purchase of Services from this Website. This includes, but is not limited to, credit / debit card numbers, bank account numbers and sort codes;
1.7 - "System": means any online communications infrastructure that We make available through the Website either now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, web-based email, message boards, live chat facilities and email links;
1.8 - "User": means any third party that accesses the Website and is not employed by Us and acting in the course of their employment;
1.9 - “VI Program’: means Our remote internship program offered on https://www.virtualinternships.com/ 
1.10 - "Website": means the website that you are currently using (virtualinternships.learnworlds.com) and any sub-domains of this site unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions; and
1.11 - "We/Us/Our/Virtual Internships": means
      a) 
If you are a resident of the United States: Virtual Internships Inc., a company incorporated in the state of Delaware with its registered address at 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901 USA.
      b) If you are a resident of any other country: Virtual Internship Partners Ltd., a company incorporated in England & Wales, registration number 11234698, with its registered address at 80-83 Long Lane, London, UK EC1A 9ET.

2. Use of Website and System

2.1 - When using any System on the Website you should do so in accordance with the rules set out in Part B - Clause 2 of Our Main Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these rules may result in your Account being suspended or closed.
2.2 - You acknowledge that We reserve the right to monitor any and all communications made to Us or using Our System.
2.3 - You acknowledge that We may retain copies of any and all communications made to Us or using Our System.

3. Accounts

3.1 - In order to procure Services on this Website and to use certain other parts of the System, you are required to create an Account which will contain certain personal details (first and last name, email, country of residence and other information as determined by Us from time to time) 
3.2 - You agree that you’re solely responsible for:
         a) maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account information and your password; and
         b) any activities and those of any third party that occur through your Account, whether those activities have been authorised by you or not.
3.3 - You warrant that:
         a) Any information you give Us while completing the Account registration process will always be accurate, honest, correct and up to date;
         b) You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update it as necessary; and
         c) You will have the requisite consent to give such information to Us.
3.4 - Once you complete the Account registration process, We may, in Our absolute discretion, choose to accept you as a User within the Website and provide you with an Account.
3.5 - We reserve the right to contact you about any concerning behaviour by you, or to seek a resolution with you.
3.6 - We may suspend or cancel your Account for any reason, including for any failure to comply with these Terms.
3.7 - You also agree to let Us know if you detect any unusual activity on your Account as soon as you become aware of it.
3.8 - We will not be responsible to you for, and expressly disclaim any liability for, any cost, loss, damages or expenses arising out of a failure by you to maintain the security of your Account information or your password.
3.9 - If you provide Us with any information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account and refuse all current or future use of the Website. You agree to release Us from any and all liability for any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with information you provide that is not true, accurate, up-to-date and complete.
3.10 - We reserve the right to remove, reclaim or change a username you select if We determine, in Our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene or otherwise objectionable.

4. Termination and Cancellation of Accounts

4.1 - Either We or you may terminate your Account. If We terminate your Account, you will be notified by email and an explanation for the termination will be provided. Notwithstanding the foregoing, We reserve the right to terminate without giving reasons.
4.2 - If We terminate your Account, any current or pending orders or payments on your Account will be cancelled and Services will not be provided.

5. Services, Pricing and Availability

5.1 - We will use reasonable endeavours to provide the Services with reasonable skill and care, commensurate with best trade practice.
5.2 - In the event that provided Services are faulty, you should contact Us immediately to inform Us of the mistake by email at contact@careerbridge.virtualinternships.com.
5.3 - We provide online technical support. We make every effort possible to respond in a timely manner but We do not guarantee a particular response time.
5.4 - We neither represent nor warrant that the Services will be available at all times and cannot necessarily confirm availability until confirming your Order. Ongoing uptime availability indications are not provided on the Website.
5.5 - All pricing information on the Website is correct at the time of going online. We reserve the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary.
5.6 - In the event that prices are changed during the period between an order being placed for Services and Us processing that order and taking payment, then the price that was valid at the time of the order will be used.

6. Orders and Payment

6.1 - No part of this Website constitutes a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer that We may, at Our sole discretion, accept. Our acceptance is indicated by Us sending to you an order confirmation email. Only once We have sent you an order confirmation email will there be a binding contract between Us and you.
6.2 - Order confirmations under sub-Clause 6.1 will be sent to you before the Services begin and will contain the following information:
         a) Confirmation of the Services ordered including full details of the main characteristics of those Services;
         b) Fully itemised pricing for the Services ordered including, where appropriate, taxes, delivery and other additional charges;
         c) The date and time on which your access starts.Other relevant information for accessing the Services.
6.3 - If We, for any reason, do not accept your order, no payment will be taken under normal circumstances. In any event, any sums paid by you in relation to that order will be refunded within 14 calendar days.
6.4 - We may use a third-party payment provider (Payment Provider) to collect payments for Services, including Stripe. The processing of payments by the Payment Provider will be, in addition to these Terms, subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Provider. We are not liable for the security or performance of the Payment Provider. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct our Payment Provider to correct, any errors or mistakes in collecting your payment.
6.5 - Upon confirmation of your Order, you will receive immediate access to CareerBridge, the Systems and related Services. By proceeding with your order, you expressly request that the Services begin immediately and acknowledge that, where applicable consumer protection laws provides you with a cooling-off right, you may lose that right once access to Careerbridge is provided.

7. Cancellation of Orders and Services

7.1 - We want you to be completely satisfied with Our Services. If you need to speak to Us about Our Services or your Order, then please email Us at contact@careerbridge.virtualinternships.com 
7.2 - You may cancel an Order that We have accepted. 
7.3 - All fees paid for the Services are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. 
7.4 - If you are a consumer based within the European Union, United Kingdom or any other jurisdiction which grants similar rights, you may have a statutory right to cancel your Order during a “cooling off” period as explained in Part C -Clause 7 of Our Main Terms and Conditions.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with Our Privacy Policy and Clause 9 of Part B of Our Main Terms and Conditions. By using the Services, you consent to this processing.

9.1 - For the avoidance of any doubt, Part B (‘When you browse the Website’) and C (Liability and other legal terms’) of Our Main Terms and Conditions are incorporated by reference in and form part of these Terms. Please read these attentively.
